Shashin Photos offers two services based around its in-store art gallery.

1. Photography workshops. Shashin Photos conduct free workshops on topics of interest to Shashin’s customers.
2. Talk to the artist. Lianne Lewis will be available to visit Shashin Photos to discuss her paintings with customers who express a serious interest in purchasing one of her works. Lianne also offers a no-obligation visit to a customer’s home or office with an artwork to assess how the piece fits into the environment.

Shashin wishes to promote the art of photography and foster the exchange of knowledge among those interested in photography.

We are assisting the Victorian chapter of the Photographic Society of Great Britain to reach more people interested in photography. We carry information about the local activities, membership application forms, and back copies of the RPS Journal.

The society was founded in London 1853 “to promote the Art and Science of Photography”, a mission it continues to this day. Membership is open to everyone interested in photography throughout the world.
